As a distinguished, strategic healthcare leader with over 25 years of case management experience, Adria Grillo brings her passion for patient care – “every patient, every bed” to her work with Integrative Healthcare Solutions. She has a strong track record in planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives focused on growth, quality and patient safety and experience, interprofessional integration, and financial stewardship, all while utilizing lean principles.

A few of Adria’s professional achievements include:

  • Significantly reducing post-acute authorization turnaround times and hospital avoidable days, contributing to major cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Implementing an internal pre-certification team that saved over 21,000 days and backfilled over 23,000 beds, resulting in substantial financial gains for a large hospital system.
  • Leading efforts to reduce Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) authorization turnaround time from 72 hours to 12 hours, enhancing overall patient throughput.

As President of Integrative Healthcare Solutions, LLC, she leads and conducts comprehensive assessments of hospitals to identify areas for improvement and develops tailored strategic plans to drive operational efficiencies, reduce costs, and boost revenue.

She is the author of numerous publications, webinars, and presentations including as an invited speaker.   Winner of several awards and acknowledgements including “Best Practice,” Nurse Recognition in Quality, First Prize at Ohio Organization of Nurse Executives, and “Best Thesis.”  She was also selected by her peers to deliver the commencement speech at their Master’s graduation ceremony.

Additionally, Adria founded and was previous President for the Greater Dayton American Association of Neuroscience Nurses. Past and current certifications include Case Management, Lean Principals, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and most recently she completed a nine-month fellowship in Clinical Ethics.

With a passion for mentoring new leaders, Adria has participated in several emerging leader programs as a presenter and an ongoing mentor. She also provided curriculum to financially challenged students through the Junior Achievement Program. Adria genuinely enjoys witnessing others succeed.

Adria is a result driven, innovative leader constantly seeking creative ideas to improve the patient experience. As a change agent, her engaging, inclusive, collaborative approach inspires healthcare teams to embark upon true transformation.

Adria loves spending time with her family and friends. She is an amateur pianist and equestrian, both of which bring her great happiness. Her dream is to one day own a farm rescuing horses and providing therapeutic riding for those in need.
